Nesties were first created all the way back in 2015, when founder Nikki realised that pet beds would only last around three months. She felt there was a need for beds that were super comfy for her pets, but also very sturdy and would see a pet happy from puppy to senior. Despite only originally making one for herself and a friend, Nikki and her husband Ric now make thousands of Nesties for many happy pets every year. With everything being handmade from start to finish, and all the best quality, hard-wearing materials being used, quality is guaranteed. A lot of passion and care are put into every Nestie made, ensuring your pet has a cosy bed fit for your best friend.
The Nikki's Nesties Difference.
At Nikkis Nesties, we pride ourselves on using only 100% genuine, high-quality materials designed for durability. Our specially sourced thread is made to resist rotting and fraying, our fabric is tough and hard-wearing, and our filling is premium sofa-grade for long-lasting support.
Each Nestie is carefully made to be both comfortable and built to last. On average, our beds last over 5 years, with some customers still using theirs from as far back as 2016 in excellent condition.
Over a 5-year lifespan, a Nestie costs roughly £25 per year—making it a much more economical choice compared to frequently replacing lower-quality beds.
Designed to handle constant digging, dragging, and everyday use, Nesties maintain their shape without flattening. The wipe-clean interior also makes them ideal from puppy through to senior years—accidents are no problem, as a quick cover change and simple wipe leaves everything fresh and clean.
Please note: Nesties are not soft and squishy. When new, they are intentionally firm, as each section is hand-stuffed to capacity to ensure they hold their shape and provide consistent support over time.

Bought this super soft collar as all else failed. Lots of Epsom salts bathing, medicated talc, leucillen spray and vets gels on Dibs's badly split claw with dig cyst (he doesn't do things by halves) covered with sock to stop licking, but off in seconds. This is the second nestie I have bought and worth every penny, I bought the xl which was to large so recently downsized to a large that’s only due to my dog liking something more snug.So well made and my Teddy absolutely loves it. The shape has stayed the same as the day I bought it, the sides are so strong which is perfect as my dog likes to sleep with his head a little higher than his body. The covers are strong and durable and wash up lovely.
